What wedoand when

Three formats, one way of working: we discover, we try, we create together.

Depending on the time available, the place and the people in the room, MoCap Week takes three shapes. They overlap, they answer each other, and they travel: in our studio, at your place, elsewhere in the world, or online.

MoCap Week is an ANISOTROPIE initiative, led by Georges-Emmanuel Arnaud.

Three formats

(01)

MoCap Moment

Half a day or a full day, as a group

The shortest format, and often the first one. We set up the system, kit out the group, and capture. In half a day, everyone has seen their own movement turn into an image.

The MoCap Moment travels: it happens in our studio, outdoors, in a school, a theatre or a community space. It is the format that goes to people rather than the other way round.

Length
½ day to 1 day
Where
In our studio, outdoors, in Martinique or elsewhere
Who for
Existing groups: schools, associations, companies, businesses

On request

One slot reserved for schools per school year.

MoCap Explo Studio

Discovering the studio, the system and the ecosystem

An invitation to come and see up close. The studio, the capture system, the software, and above all the ecosystem around it: the people, the projects, the ways of working.

This is not a training course, it is a meeting. We show, we explain, we try things out, we talk about what could be done together. This format always takes place in Martinique, because the place itself is what we are sharing.

MoCap Week

From two days to a week, anywhere

The long format, the one that gives the project its name. Several days in a row with one or more invited trainers: workshops, demos, performances, technical exploration, acting, dance, tests on Unreal Engine, Xsens, Manus.

Geography does not matter: a MoCap Week can take place in Martinique, elsewhere in the world at the invitation of a festival or a school, or continue online. What matters is the length — enough time to move from discovery to creation.
